This sculpture was born from a real encounter.
In the forest, I saw this tree trunk and instantly recognized myself through it. Sometimes we meet people through whom we unexpectedly and very closely come back to ourselves.
This work is about such encounters.
It is the only sculpture in this series made of pine. All other works in the series are made of beech wood.
